Salado Leather

Welcome! I'm Paul Habermehl, proprietor, and maker for Salado Leather. I've been a lifelong hobby crafter, enjoying woodworking, photography, and drawing. Now, after retiring from my computer software career, I'm happy to have become a leather goods maker.

While it's very easy to buy things quickly and cheaply from anywhere in the world, sometimes it's nice to find something made locally, using quality materials, and craftsmanship. That is what I work to offer with my leather craft.

All my items are made with full-grain leather, using high-quality hardware, and hand-stitched to last a long time. I make my items in small batches while not rushing the process so that each piece is the best I can make it.
